Creative social media
Up until recently there has been only one way to create massive awareness quickly. Buy ads.
There’s nothing wrong with buying ads.
But now there’s another way. Creative social media that gets shared widely. Some recent examples of our work:
- A live streamed book signing to promote Lord Alan Sugar’s new book
- For a fashion retailer – shoe prices that drop according to how influential tweets are
- A drinks machine that dispenses free ice tea for a tweet
These kinds of creative social campaigns have a downside – its hard to plan exactly how many people you will reach.
But they certainly do have an upside. They tend to be much better value for money than traditional ad buying. And because they spread by way of word of mouth they have a real positive impact on brand perception.
