Brief:
Develop a tool for The Mirror that ensures they have the first scoop whenever a celebrity posts pictures on Twitter.
Solution:
Celebrities posting pictures in social media often turn into good stories for the newspaper. We built The Mirror a Twitter bot that tracks pictures posted by certain celebrities on Twitter. Whenever one of the celebrities on their list tweets a link to a picture, the link is immediately emailed to a Mirror journalist. So the scoop is theirs, if they want it.
It works like a charm and is currently in use by the newspaper.
